Unsigned portrait, oil on canvas. 15,7 × 21,7 inch., date unknown. We found it in our brother's attic room; he used to paint there as well.
It is unknown who is depicted. Although it may be attributed to our brother, its authorship remains uncertain. It’s also possible that he bought it somewhere. The four red dots in the corners could likewise be later interventions by him. The work fits perhaps in the tradition of appropriation and playful détournement, similar to Marcel Duchamp’s ready-mades, like when he drew a moustache on the Mona Lisa, giving an everyday object—or famous image—a new, ironic meaning.

As the piece is unsigned, we are applying a significant 50% reduction to its price.

Five cocktail sticks were used as toothpicks during the week of December 10, 2019, by the chicken farmer. Two were used after lunch and the remaining three after dinner. They will be shipped in a hygienic packaging, together with a certificate of authenticity issued by the chicken farmer’s wife.

Important note: Whether the toothpicks are vegan is still a matter of debate, as small particles of non vegan food residue might be left on them. According to the chicken farmer’s wife, beef stew was on the menu on those days—a type of stringy meat that can be quite irritating between your teeth. And, after all, humans are animals too, so there could very well be traces of human material on the toothpicks. She also recalls that they ate Butter Chicken, Chicken Biryani, Tandoori Chicken, and Fried Chicken that week.

Give yourself, or someone else, some space!
As a not unskilled amateur photographer, our brother naturally took his camera with him on his space journey. He photographed, among other things, cities from space, but also the Sputnik 2 capsule where Laika was. He took hundreds of photos. We are currently sorting through them and will be adding more to the website in the future.

 

The photos are printed on high-quality photographic paper. The sizes vary, but they are all around 12x16 inches. Each print is limited to an edition of 5 and comes with a certificate of authenticity issued by us (brother and sister).

End of the year SALE! Unique precision
Throughout his youth, our brother made sketches and practiced various techniques. In this book, he practiced drawing straight lines without the use of a ruler. He filled a total of 46 pages, but pages 5 to 25 have been torn out, presumably because he was not satisfied with the result.

Puzzled Monkey

Puzzle of a monkey with a banana and an orange, donated by the Blind Collector. A very symbolic masterpiece in its category, though not within the Blind Collector’s main area of interest. We haven't counted it, and it’s not on the box, but we think it’s 100 pieces.

Please note: it seems that the depicted monkey is in captivity, which is something we strongly condemn at all times.
